I came to this beautiful place by Arthur Ave with my wife. The food was amazing and fresh. I ordered the mix plater lamb + chicken with French fries and salad on side with tzatziki sauce and mustard, we where eating non stop and no talk until the plate was empty, we started laughing. The taste of the gyro mix was delicious and French fries so good. The service was excellent, staff are very friendly and welcoming & the place is very clean I highly recommend this place. I can’t wait to visit again soon

Lovely clean interior. Open kitchen. Friendly people. The bar tender/hostess was amazingly friendly and I say this respectfully, beautiful. I think I fell in love with the Bronx today ladies and gentleman. All because of this gyro place. The neighborhood is amazing. It was my first time exploring the Bronx, with friends, as an adult and it was super sweet. The energy throughout the city is electric. Ok ok, back to the Gyro place. We got kebabs and Greek/Euro beers and it was all super fresh and clean food. Flavorful! The sauces were amazing - ask to try their different sauces and they’ll bring you a few to dunk things in. The bar tender brought us a free serving of fries with sauces to try. I mean come on! Who does that? Just a spectacular place!
Extremely clean place. The waitress was very helpful and quick with everything. The chef personally came up and asked if everything is good and if I would like for him to add more meat since I was almost done. Excellent service and absolutely amazing, fresh food.
This has been the best addition to Arthur Avenue. Authentic Greek street food taken to a restaurant level. We started out with halloumi fried cheese, fried calamaris and a loukaniko sausage which came with a generous portion of grilled pita and regular bread. The loukaniko was delicious with hints of green pepper (that you can actually see). We followed with two salads: arugula and tomato (along with a chicken breast) with feta cheese. Feta cheese was served as big dices. It was scrumptious. Prices are very reasonable and food is served either indoors or outdoors. We love this place and come here frequently. Service is always impeccable; the chef is very friendly and always adds a personal touch. On the latest visit, they were having a very busy day. The waiter still gave us full attention and quick service.
I find this place to be wonderfully decorated, with the lights on display, the marble walls, and the brick architecture. The food is amazingly prepared. My lady friend and I enjoyed our stay and caught up with events. I find this restaurant lavishing and a place to relax for a calm dinner. Love Avenue Gyro! The food is very delicious!! The amount of food they serve at lunch is a big portion. I wish the service was better, we had to constantly ask for what we needed, like water, napkins, utensils, etc. They also have buffet style set up where you select what you want to eat to enjoy out or in. The sauces were spectacular, my favorite was the hot feta dip, yum
